District 12-N is an organization of 44 LIONS CLUBS. Officers and meeting times of each Club are given in the DIRECTORY. Each Club is part of LIONS CLUBS INTERNATIONAL. The Clubs are joined together to provide services to persons with special needs in this area.

H&R BLOCK has a plan that will result in a $25 donation to the Lions District 12-N Charities. All you have to do is to refer people (first-time clients) to the local H&R BLOCK office between January 1 and November 1 of 2008. They should take the form you can print by clicking on the following:

Each year, District and State Contests are conducted to recongnize those Clubs and individual Lions who are outstanding in their efforts to meet the goals of the District and Lions Clubs International. The criteria, rules, and submission forms to be submitted by the all Clubs for this evaluation can be found on the Club Contest Page. [CLICK HERE]
have as their motto WE SERVE,which indicates their dedication to providing help to others. A measure of that dedication is indicated by the CLUB CONTEST, which measures the accomplishments of each Club. A FINAL LISTING of Clubs and Club Officers for 1999-2000 is also provided. A listing of those Lions recommended by their Clubs as Lion of the Year, Lions of the Decade, Lion of Distinction, and Tail Twister of the Year in 1999-2000 are listed. A HISTORY of these AWARDS indicates the many years of effort devoted by Lions in the District.
have their MAJOR PROJECTSin Sight Conservation and Youth Activities;however many Clubs have Projects that provide special support to their communities.
support these projects from their own donations and from contributions that are collected during WHITE CANE DAYS and the WALK OF THE BLIND.
supports a number of PROJECTS in this area and projects outside of the area that can provide services for persons in the East Tennessee Area.
has its projects coordinated by a number of VOLUNTEER OFFICERS, each of whom serve without financial support from the District. In addition, OTHER MEMBERS volunteer their time and efforts to chair a number of committees, that are necessary for many activities and projects to function. Members or Officers who have given exceptional SERVICE to the organization are recognized as a MELVIN JONES FELLOW.
is governed by specific CONSTITUTION AND BY-LAWS. The version that is now posted on this web site is a revision that was adopted by the delegates at the Spring Convention on March 4,2006. This instrument must be consistent with similar documents for the Multiple District (State of Tennessee) and the International organization.
