District 12-N DG Jim McFarland ~ Goals

MEMBERSHIP · Total membership for District 12-N to be 1,350 members by June 30, 2009. - Increase of one new (net) member in every club in District - Decrease Drops across the District - Continue Orientation Programs - Mentoring Program for New Lions - Interview Lions who voluntarily exit their Clubs to determine why they are leaving LEADERSHIP · Identify emerging new leaders within each club to participate at the club and district levels. - Focus and identify up and coming leaders in the district - Encourage Lions to participate in District, MD and National Leadership Forums. - Scholarship first time Lions for the LLR (Jan. 16-17, 2009) EXTENSION · Charter One Campus Club at either Roane State or ETSU · Charter One New Club in Maynardville or South Knoxville SERVICE · All counties in District 12-N participating in the KidSight Program. RECOGNITION · Recognize Leos and Leo Clubs, as well as non-Lions for their Service and Support at the club and district levels. - Identify active Leos and Leo Club, recognizing their contributions PUBLICITY · Increase fund raising for the Lakeway and Knoxville Walks - Advertise District Events in local media - Encourage more Lions to participate in the planning stages of each of the two Lions Walks - Encourage more Non-Lions involvement in both of the Lions Walks
