All Lions for whom appropriate forms were mailed are listed; however three forms mailed were postmarked after February 27, 1999, and could not be considered by the District. Those names of Lions receiving recognition by District 12-N entered in BOLD type and marked in RED. Names of these Lions were submitted for consideration at the Multiple District 12 Level. Of characteristics mentioned most in all of the commendations for all levels of recognition was a demonstrated concern of the Lion for other members of the Club. This ranged from taking an interest in the other Lions and talking with them about their families, their jobs, their hobbies, and other interests to mentoring other members in their development as Lions or as officers of the Club. The outstanding trait of these Lions appeared to be a deep concern and appreciation of their fellow Lions.
