The 2006 Central High School Away Football
Schedule is as follows:
August 18 – Middlesboro Middlesboro, KY
September 1 – Halls Halls, TN
September 22 – Bearden Knoxville,
TN
September 29 – Maryville Maryville, TN
October 13 – Powell Powell, TN
October 27 - West Knoxville, TN
Students traveling with the band to away
football games are expected to abide by Knox County, Central High School, and
CHS Band rules. Any student not following rules will NOT be allowed to travel
with the band or may be subjected to certain disciplinary procedures.
All students will be traveling via school bus to
and from football games. Itineraries for the events will be posted prior to
departing. Precise itineraries are generally given to students the week of
trips and general itineraries are published in the newsletter monthly. Students
are expected to arrive ON TIME for all events. Students not arriving on time
could be left at Central.
Appropriate dress will be established for the
game prior to leaving and posted in the newsletter. Students not prepared will
not be allowed to perform. Students will also need money to purchase items from
vending machines or concessions during the football games. in some cases, hosts
bands provide us with water/sodas. As always, the CHS Band travels with water
and sodas. Generally, these are handed out AFTER the bands halftime
performance.
Remember, these are SCHOOL events so school
rules apply. We are acting as representatives for Central High School and
Knoxville. Therefore, appropriate behavior is ALWAYS necessary.

I give my permission for
__________________________________________________________to travel with the
Central High School Marching Band to away football games for the 2005 Marching
Season. I understand that I am
responsible for finding my child's transportation to and from Central to load
the buses. My child is also responsible
for following school policy while attending these functions.
