September 27th: Upper Cumberland Co. Marching Band Festival
at
Cumberland County High School in Crossville, TN - October 4th: Foothills Classic at Seymour High School - The CHS Band finished 2nd in Class AAA and 7th Place overall at the Seymour Invitational, receiving the rating of a 2(Excellent). Drum Major Jennifer Cox and the Percussion Section earned Superior Ratings for their performances
October 18th: South Doyle High School - Congratulations to the band kids for earning an overall SUPERIOR rating at the South Doyle Band Competition. It was a good performance despite having 5 holes on the day. We rounded the competition season out on a POSITIVE performance. Also, thanks to the parents who were at South-Doyle supporting us and then again as we pulled into the parking lot at Central.

PARENT REMINDER: We provide a bottle of
water to each of our kids as well as to the visiting band after
halftime. You can usually find a case of 30
bottles
for less than $5.00. Please have your child put it in the booster
storage room (not the uniform room). Thanks so much for your help!
