The 2007 ETEA Fall Conference reflects the changes occurring in research-based educational practices that keep educators abreast of innovative strategies. The fall “Brain Based Learning” Conference is designed to showcase key practices that produce high performing students and schools. This workshop will enable principals, assistant principals, administrators, and instructors to share ideas and techniques that showcase sensible ways to design techniques and strategies to improve instruction and monitor quality. These practical ideas will optimize resources that schools need to motivate students to reach high standards.
ETEA is dedicated to disseminating the best academic practices through professional development programs and through addressing issues of delivery and instruction. The 2007 ETEA Fall Conference is designed to showcase how to bring active participation into the curriculum. Principals and classroom teachers will present practical perspectives of classrooms and schools that have successfully used brain-based learning to implement strategies that work!

Join other classroom teachers in this exciting workshop and learn some "brain basics." Come learn more about the latest research on how the brain functions and find out how you can apply this new knowledge to functional classroom strategies that increase students' ability to remember information and enhance long-term memory.
Come have fun while you delve into the latest techniques in unlocking the mysteries of your student’s brains! Emphasis will be placed on showing how brain-based learning techniques can be incorporated into math, reading, memory enrichment, and all subject areas. This all-day workshop presents brain-compatible strategies to help students reflect, apply and transfer skills. Included will be hands-on sessions on how to implement reliable strategies that really work!
