About Us
The East Tennessee Technology Access
Center (ETTAC) is a regional nonprofit agency that helps people
with disabilities gain knowledge about and access to assistive
technology devices. These devices help people with
disabilities gain education and employment skills, perform
activities of daily living, an lead more independent, productive
lives. ETTAC's assistive technology equipment is used for
assessment and training, and some devices may also be available for
loan.
ETTAC was founded in 1988 and currently
serves over 6,000 people each year in East Tennessee at its offices
in Knoxville and Johnson City, as well as in homes, schools, and
businesses in East Tennessee.
