Dynavox Systems to Demonstrate NEW Eye Gaze System

Prentke Romich Workshop

Participants will learn how to import digital pictures, create and link activities, and use the Language Activity Monitor built into PRC communication devices to track usage. Previous attendance (online or face-to-face) of an introductory class is mandatory. ASHA CEUs will be available. Participants also need to call PRC at (800) 262-1984 AND ETTAC to register for this workshop.

 

PACER’s Simon Technology Center Offers Universally Designed Technology in Schools Online Training

With the support of the NEC Foundation, PACER Simon Technology Center has created a free online training to help teachers, administrators and other professionals, and families learn about and implement universally designed technology (UDT) in K-12 schools. UDT supports a broad range of abilities and learning styles. It can give students with disabilities equal access to the curriculum and help schools meet the educational needs of all students. Storytime A.T. the Library

Jake Lyon engaging in A.T. Play"Storytime at the Library" is a literacy program hosted by ETTAC. Children with disabilities will have an opportunity to read and enjoy their favorite books through a variety of adapted literacy materials including the Book Worm, adapted books, and software programs. This activity is funded in part by United Way of Blount, Knox and Jefferson Counties and the Sunrise Foundation.

Workshops are open to the public unless otherwise noted.  All interested persons are encouraged to attend!  Scholarships are available upon request.  Reduced price for members.

A check or money order must accompany registration in order for you to be placed on the participant list.  Space is limited and is based on the number of computer stations available in order to provide hands-on learning.  We must have at least 10 participants in order to hold a training.

Different workshops are scheduled throughout the year.
