This month-by-month perpetual guide is the result of a two year collaborative effort by the Friends of the UT Gardens and the Knoxville Watercolor Society. Each month contains tips and tasks intended to provide “when to” instructions for growing and caring for your garden plants and is accompanied by a beautiful, unique painting of the University of Tennessee Gardens created by a member of the Knoxville Watercolor Society.
The Guide is designed to be used from year to year as a personal reference for your unique garden. Although the title addresses Tennessee gardeners, it is also applicable to those gardening anywhere in USDA Hardiness Zones 7a – 6b and since it is for perpetual use, it can be purchased at any time of the year. A truly wonderful gift for your favorite gardener!
The Guide is $17.00 and is available for purchase at many Friends events and workshops. It can also be purchased at any time directly from Friends of the UT Gardens online or by direct mail order form request. Shipping is available for an additional $3.00 and a gift card can be included.
