Welcome to the Web Site of the Knoxville Area Dulcimer Club (KADC) in East Tennessee

The 2007 KADC RETREAT has been scheduled!!!

The KADC is a club for everyone who likes dulcimers and people who play them. We have players of both mountain lap or fretted dulcimer and hammered dulcimer. Other acoustical instruments are also welcome. We play most of the music in the DAD tuning. Classes are offered for the beginner to the advanced player. The club has Meetings the fourth Sunday of each month from 1:30 - 4:00.

If you like camping AND playing dulcimer you've come to the right place. Our club camps and plays at The Big South Fork National River and Recreation Area three times a year, in April and September at Bandy Creek in Tennessee and in October at Blue Heron in Kentucky. They allow the club members to camp free since the members play for park visitors during these outings.
