GROWING IN OUR LOVE FOR JESUS
I Corinthians 5:11-15
Love is the most basic motivation for
following Jesus, and the greatest insurance that we will follow Him wherever He
goes (Jn. 14:15, 21, 23; 15:10; I Jn. 5:3; II Jn. 6). Let us look at a few
things from Jesus’ life that will help us to grow in our love for Him.
He Beat The Devil At His Own Game
Matthew 4:1-11
He Desires Mercy And Not Sacrifice
Matthew 9:9-13; 12:1-9
He Put Hypocrites In Their Place
Matthew 15:1-9
He Wants To Give Us Rest
Matthew 11:28-30
He Asks For The Best We Have To Give
Luke 9:23-26
He Gave His Life For Us
John 10:10-14
He Will Not Forsake The Faithful
Romans 8:31-39
These are but a few of the things that draw
us to Jesus in Love. Let us dwell on such things and find the motivation we
need to serve Him well.
