Knoxville area consumers can receive a brief, individualized consultation with a registered dietitian by calling the Dial-A-Dietitian line. Callers leave a message at the 24-hour message center, then receive a return call from local dietitian. Recent telephone queries have included requests for therapeutic diet information, information on herbal diet pills, cooking/food storage tips, and referrals for in-person dietitian consultations.
