Internships
Available
One or more non-paid internships are currently available through
Keep Knoxville Beautiful. Students have received course credit for
working with Keep Knoxville Beautiful in the past. If you are looking for
experience in non-profit management, marketing, public relations, youth
programs or just want to help improve the community this is the right
internship for you:
- hours are 10-15 hours a week or more,
M-F, between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., actual schedule will vary
depending on your schedule and our projects,
- you will work with friendly,
experienced and supportive staff and a board of directors made up of
community leaders,
- you will work in an excellent
environment, offices are located downtown in the newly renovated
Emporium Building,
- Keep Knoxville Beautiful programs have
won several national and state awards and we are an affiliate of Keep
America Beautiful,
- the job focus of the internships is
program implementation and outcome - creative solutions to achieve
outcome are welcomed,
- interns will have the opportunity to
work with City and County officials,
- interns will work on large-scale
community events such as Orchids
& Onions, I
Spy on Litter, The
Great American Cleanup™, several Youth Programs and
more, and
- interns will improve their problem
solving, communication and computer skills.
