What happened at the last meeting?
August Meeting Notes

When is the next meeting?

October 23, 2008

What is the topic of the next meeting?
The speaker will be David Massey, neighborhood Coordinator of the city Community Development Division.

How often do we meet?
General meetings are held quarterly at 7:00 p.m. on the fourth Thursday of February, May, August, and October.  Unless otherwise noted.

Where do we meet?
We meet at Washington Pike United Methodist Church, 2241 Washington Pike, on the ground floor.  Signs will be posted on the door to direct you to the meeting room.  Flyers are distributed by volunteers generally one week before the meetings.  Special meetings are also communicated by flyers and information on this web page.

What are some current projects NHAA is working on?
We are pursuing traffic calming devices for the area and working with law enforcement to address speeding and vandalism. Also, Plantation Hills is beginning to develop a neighborhood watch. NHAA has also discussed partnering with its Project Grad schools on projects which will engage many children from our area. Landlords are being contacted to improve rental property. The no parking on the North Hills Blvd's will be actively enforced with more signs and more active police monitoring.

Can I volunteer to work on some of these projects?
Certainly!  NHAA would like for all residents to join them in their efforts to maintain and  improve the quality of life in the North Hills Area.  Together we can impact positive changes for residents in the neighborhood.  Volunteers can contact someone the contacts page or email NHAA at nhaa@korrnet.org.
