OLPNA Clubhouse
The OLPNA clubhouse is used for neighborhood
meetings and can be rented by groups for $20.00 an hour. It was
built in 1939 by one of the NYA projects as a club house, band
room, and home economics suite for Christenberry Junior High School,
which was located where Christenberry Elementary School is now.

Neighborhood meetings are held in the clubhouse.
On the third Thursday of each month, at 5:30 pm the Board of Directors
meets and at 6:30 pm neighbors gather for the program meeting.

The clubhouse is a beautiful stone building
with wormy chestnut walls and stone tile floors. The main hall--furnished
with fold-up tables and chairs--boasts as its centerpierce a stone
fireplace with gas logs. The building has a full kitchen with
stove, microwave, refrigerator and dishwasher.

The clubhouse seats 50 people
easily with space for a buffet and is often used for reunions,
wedding receptions, and birthday parties. If you're interested
in renting it for an event, you might want to get your request
in early--it fills up fast for holidays.
