Office of Disability Employment Policy

This site describes the Office of Disability Employment Policy. ODEP's mission is to provide leadership to increase employment opportunities for adults and youth with disabilities. ODEP is a federal agency in the Department of Labor. Its customers include:

Individuals with disabilities and their families
Private employers and their employees
Federal, state, and local government agencies
Educational and training institutions
Disability advocates
Providers of services and government employers

     JAN on the Web
This site describes the Job Accommodation Network (JAN). It is a service provided by the President's Committee on Employment with Disabilities. 

JAN is "not a job placement service, but an international toll-free consulting service that provides information about job accommodations and the employability of people with disabilities. JAN also provides information regarding the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)."

This site describes America's Job Bank. This job bank is "a partnership between the US Department of Labor and the state 
operated Public Employment Service."

Goodwill Industries International

This site describes Goodwill Industries International. It is similar to the local Goodwill Industries site except it is geared on a more international level.
