Our Staff

Jean Williamson, Director of Community Resources, United Way of Blount County
Jean is the Director of Community Resources for the United Way of Blount County and supervisor of the Success By 6 of Blount County Initiative. Jean received her BA in Psychology from King College in Bristol, TN, and has experience with young children as a former preschool/kindergarten teacher.

Shannon McCloud, Program Coordinator
Shannon previously coordinated Early Head Start, an early childhood program for infants, toddlers, and pregnant women, and Resource Mothers, a teen pregnancy and parenting program. She also has experience as a Home Visitor and was a member of the Success By 6 Advisory Council in Abingdon, Virginia. Shannon has a BA degree in Psychology from Hollins College in Roanoke, Virginia.

Justine Leehans, Service Coordinator
Justine is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has a MSSW degree from the University of Tennessee. She has been working with families in Blount County since 1996. She has provided diagnosis, therapy and referral for children, teens and adults, enjoys home visiting, and is familiar with local resources.

Kay Overbey, Service Coordinator
Kay was a counselor and investigator for the Tennessee Department of Human Services for 23 years. She is currently on the board of the Blount County Children's Advocacy Center and serves as a mentor for United Way. Kay has a BS degree in Social Work from East Tennessee State University.

The Behavioral Health Resource Center also receives in-kind staff support from United Way of Blount County, and we are fortunate to have the assistance of Social Work interns from the University of Tennessee.
