Teams

As a community initiative, SB6 utilizes volunteers for planning and implementation of all activities. Volunteers from various sectors of the community and SB6 staff members make up seven working teams, our Advisory Council, and the Executive Committee.

Advisory Council - Advises and offers feedback and guidance to the SB6 initiative.

Executive Committee - Acts as the Board of the initiative and takes action on any recommendations from the teams.

Resources Team - ldentification of community resources, gaps in services, and community needs. Development of the Resource Library, educational videos, and resource directory. Also provides information/training to professionals working with young children.

Services Team - Guidance of information, assessment and referral activities. Development of the Ages and Stages booklet, training opportunities for child care providers, and the Happy & Healthy Birthday Project.

Communications and Marketing Team - Guidance of media and marketing plans (brochure, PR video, website, and posters).

Finance and Personnel Team - Budget and staff hiring oversight, development and implementation of sustainability plan.

Evaluation Team - Development of plan to evaluate the program and measurement of child and system outcomes.

Child Advocacy Team - Collaborates with other early childhood organizations to advocate for children's issues.

100% Access Team - Development of plan to increase access to mental health care for young children.
