WE RESCUE AND REHOME ONLY DOGS TYPICALLY KNOWN AS "ENGLISH" BULLDOGS
WE ARE LOCATED IN KNOXVILLE, TENNESSEE

This is Gus.  Gus is a  very active 9 year old  neutered Bullie who is an owner surrender because his mistress was hospitalized and no longer able to care for him.  He is very attention seeking and loves to be near his people.   Gus is UTD on his shots and heartworm negative.  Gus has very bad vision and had multiple problems with his right eye which will need  to be removed.  His left eye will need daily medication. He will also need medicated baths for his skin once or twice a month and weekly ear care.  Other than these issues he is in excellent health for a older Bullie. Despite the vision problems he gets around fine, especially when it comes to finding treats or people food on a table or counter.  He loves to find toys and bones to chew on and carry them back to his bed.  If you think you are the right family for Gus please fill out our application and call Mari DeCuir at 865-688-2270.

This is Cooper, a nine year old neutered male, UTD on his shots and heartworm free. He is an owner surrender because the owner works long hours and no longer has time for him. He did have kidney stones several years ago but has had no recurrence. He does have some dental problems that have been corrected. He will need yearly dental exams to keep him healthy.  He is very active and is in good health.   He is crate trained and house broken.  He is a very loving Bullie who likes to be with his people.  Because of his age, Cooper  will not be placed with a family that has small children.  If you are interested in adopting Cooper please fill out an application and call Mari DeCuir at 865-688-2270.

This is Oliver.  He is a 4 to 5 year old neutered male with special needs.  Oliver has serious allergies  and urinary problems that are sill in the process of being diagnosed and treated at UT Vet School. Currently he needs twice weekly medicated baths, daily ear care and medication.   He is UTD on his shots and crate trained.
He needs a family who can give him plenty of attention and who have the time to give him his baths and medications.  A family who lives in the Knoxville area is preferred because of his appointments at the Vet School.  Because of his urinary problems he sometimes wets in his crate so his bedding may need frequent changing when he is crated.    He seems to do better with women than men and probably needs a household where someone is home most of the time. If you are interested in fostering or adopting Oliver please fill out our application  and call Mari DeCuir at 865-688-2270.

This is Zaxby. She is a 7 year old neutered female rescued from our local shelter where she was picked up as a stray in a Zaxby’s parking lot. She is UTD on her shots and heartworm free. She appears to be housebroken and we are working on crate training. She is overweight and will need to be on a low fat dog food.  Zaxby has alopecia on her sides, a common condition in Bulldogs--it is neither harmful or painful. She appears to have been used for breeding and then discarded.  Nonetheless she is very sweet and docile, almost timid at times.  She will be a wonderful pet for a quiet household with no small children.  If you are interested in adopting Zaxby, please fill out our application  and call Mari DeCuir at 865-688-2270.

This is Boomer a 1 1/2 year old neutered male. He is UTD on his shots and micro chipped.  He is housebroken, crate trained, and friendly with other dogs and people. . He is a very active and playful - loves to play fetch. Boomer is an owner surrender  because of a new baby and extended travel for work in the family has left no time for him. He is on a special diet, Orijen Fish (30 lb bag is $65.00) because other foods give him severe diarrhea. The adopting family will have to be able to afford this food and agree to keep him on it permanently.  If you are interested in adopting Boomer, please fill out our application  and call Mari DeCuir at 865-688-2270.
