           BSA Troop 101

Welcome to Troop 101 !

Note: For 2008, Troop 101 will be relocated to the Kingston United Methodist Church, as Bethel Presbyterian undergoes remodeling. We have adjusted out meeting time to begin at 7:30, rather than 7:00 so we do not conflict with Pack 101.

We meet on Monday nights, from 7:00 until 8:30 PM, at Bethel Presbyterian Church in Kingston, Tennessee. Exceptions to regular meeting nights are as follows:

  • We do not meet on Mondays following campouts and other weekend activities, unless specifically instructed that we will do so.

  • We typically do not meet on holidays.

Troop Patrol Leaders' Conference (PLC) Meeting is held on the first Monday of every month, from 6:00 until 7:00 PM.

Troop Committee meetings are held on the second Monday of every month, from 6:00 until 7:00 PM.

Courts of Honor are held on a quarterly basis, also on second Mondays. Courts of Honor are conducted as a covered dish dinner for Scouts and their family and friends, followed by the Court of Honor proper. Typically, the month's Troop Committee meeting is held immediately following Court of Honor.

Leadership plays a vital role in scouting. One of the main goals of scouting is to instill values of leadership and good character in it's members, both youth and adult. Troop 101 is a boy-run organization which encourages young scouts to develop the skills of leadership while promoting outdoor activities and citizenship.
