A Timeless Tradition...
...BSA Troop 13 has a long history of serving boys. For over 50 years the troop has been in East Knoxville, TN. Currently Troop 13 is chartered by the Fountain City Lion's Club and meeting at Whittle Springs Middle School. Troop 13 is a boy led troop that is learning skills for living and leadership as it incorporates the main theme that SCOUTING is a GAME with a PURPOSE. FUN is the GAME. VALUES are the PURPOSE. Boy Scouting Membership
Lion's Club Boy Scouting, one of the traditional membership divisions of BSA, is available to boys who have earned the Arrow of Light Award or have completed the fifth grade, or who are 11 through 17 years old. The program achieves BSA objectives of developing character, citizenship, and personal fitness qualities among youth by focusing on a vigorous program of outdoor activities. Boy Scout membership is over 1,005,000 Boy Scouts / Varsity Scouts and over 537,000 adult volunteers.
