HomeThe Westminster Flower Guild encourages anyone in our congregation who enjoys flower arranging to join our guild. We appreciate the creative talents of our teams. We are so pleased with -- and proud of -- the support given by the congregation that enables us to continue our work as a guild.
If you've wanted to learn how to select and arrange flowers, the Flower Guild want to get to know you! We welcome any new interested closet creative types. You will be paired with a veteran member and trail them for a year or so -- it's all a lot of fun!
For those of you who have not previously given flowers, this is how it works. The Flower Chart is on the bulletin board in the Narthex, where you may sign up. (This may also be done by phone through the church office, 584-3957.) The Flower Guild will send you a reminder card several weeks prior to your date, and the church office will print in the Sunday bulletin a statement reading as you wish it for your memorial or special date.
For our weekly flowers, we ask for a $60.00 donation, made payable to the Westminster Flower Guild; this contribution is tax deductible and will appear on your quarterly statement from the church. There are also special collections for Advent and Easter.
We hope you will find the Flower Guild's ministry one you will enjoy in celebrating special occasions, honoring loved ones, and memorializing those no longer with us. Please remember, if our chart does not remain full, we cannot exist!
